CITY OF JENKINS Administrative Internship Opportunity
The City of Jenkins is seeking a motivated Administrative Intern to assist with projects that help modernize city operations and improve access to public records.
Position Details:
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: approx. 30 hours per week
Duration: approx. 16-20 weeks
Internship Experience:
This position provides valuable exposure to municipal government operations, including: *Digitization of city records and archives.
*Data retention and document organization.
*Administrative support for city operations.
*Community development research and assistance.
*Records management and data entry.
Qualifications:
*Must be a high school graduate (have obtained a diploma or GED).
*Must either be registered with a post-secondary institution (minimum of part-time) or be a graduate of a post-secondary institution and begin the internship within two weeks of their graduation date.
*Field of study in Public Administration, Business, Planning, Communications, Information Systems Technology (IT), or related discipline.
*Strong organizational and computer skills.
*Interest in local government and community service.
