The city calendar includes all public meetings, including City Council and the Planning & Zoning Commission meetings. The city calendar will also post any special meetings or city events that may occur throughout the year.
The Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the first Monday of each month at 6 PM.
City Council’s regularly scheduled monthly meeting is on the second Monday of every month (moved if it falls on a holiday). The City Council will optionally hold a second monthly meeting as needed, and if that takes place it will be the fourth Tuesday of the month. Both meetings start at 6 PM.
If you have an item of business for the council’s agenda: please contact city hall as far in-advance of the meeting as possible (ideally a week or more) with information about your item of business and send in any supporting documents or reports that should be included in the meeting packet. The meeting packet is finalized and sent out the week prior to the meeting so that council members have time to read and research the agenda items that are planned to be discussed. Without sufficient advance notice your topic may not be able to be included in the agenda.
