Sourcewell Community Impact Funding Awarded for City Hall and Veterans Park Improvements!
The City of Jenkins is excited to announce that we have been awarded Sourcewell Community Impact Funding to support improvements to City Hall and ADA accessibility upgrades at Veterans Park!
This funding is a wonderful opportunity to invest in our community, improve public facilities, and make our shared spaces more accessible and welcoming for everyone.
City Hall Improvements
Funding will support much-needed exterior improvements to City Hall, including updates to siding, gutters, and drainage. These improvements will help protect and preserve our municipal building, address maintenance needs, and ensure City Hall continues serving our residents for years to come.
Veterans Park ADA Accessibility Improvements
At Veterans Park, funding will help improve accessibility through the addition of ADA-accessible walkways and concrete pads, making it easier and safer for individuals of all ages and abilities to enjoy this important community gathering space.
Investing in Our Community Without Placing the Full Burden on Taxpayers
The City of Jenkins continues to actively pursue outside funding opportunities that allow us to make meaningful improvements to our parks, facilities, and infrastructure while minimizing the financial impact on local taxpayers.
